The goal/mindset/transcend living ontology pattern describes the highest leverage elements of twelve levers analysis.

It also describes the structure of a drama: Protagonist begins with a goal and runs into difficulty because of the mindset he or she is in due to having focused on that goal or overlooked other priorities or whatever. The original goal becomes impossible and the protagonist must transcend it to become happy and fulfilled.
