All users are sysops

It would appear that as of 2005-12-13, all users are sysops, that each has valuable time, skill and knowledge to contribute, and therefore should be included in sysop meetings. See also all users are trolls. Having some sysops who admit they are trolls, and some trolls who admit they are sysops, probably helps defuse conflict, even minor edit conflict.

Anarchopedia.org is a notable public wiki that adopts the policy of giving all users sysop powers. This seems to more or less eliminate any conflict or sysop power structure.

Anyone attending such a meeting on such grounds might want to declare, on any given matter, whether they are attending as sysops (that is, committing and agreeing to be bound by specific things they say, and representing themselves as having expertise on solutions) or as trolls (that is, a problem-spotting specialist, not able to speak for anyone or make commitments but trying to keep all options on the table, simulate global public opinion or biospheric impact of the decision, sort of a Devil's Advocate or tire-kicker or black hat or executive officer or peanut gallery or backseat driver or auditor role).
