As of
From eg
The directive as of signals a fact which may change. A link to this page is used normally in a sentence, as in:
- "...as of 2005-12-08, zooid implementation was still described at Current System Configuration, which is less than an ideal page name..."
Such links should be reviewed regularly to discover facts that have changed to make it easier to update pages. All pages with such directives are logged at this link. For instance, as of 2005-12-10, the following pages had claims true only as of a date:
- link to this page
- reflexive
- Main Page
- talk:Main Page
- next Main Page
- zooid_talk:ethic
- namespace
- zooid:name
This is a wiki best practice of GFDL corpus.
When it appears as a page name prefix, as of is followed by a date so it is easier to track facts true as of that date, and schedule regular review and updates.
This is done in living ontology.
