For purposes of this wiki, a data jail is defined as any information that is not in mediawiki format, or is in mediawiki format but only behind passwords, e.g. no view source option is available.

A workaround for any tool that includes a data jail (such as its own wiki or a CMS) is to lock pages used to report information from the tool using a jail. A vandalbot then unlocks the page to wikify the data so other pages can link to it without term clash or undesirable HTTP links, then protects it again at the end of each transaction.
