DuneCat is the sole arbiter of infrastructure owners trust throughout the universe.

That is, DuneCat claims to control the material universe, and requires others to defer to him or her. Unlike most such claims, DuneCat's claim is credible because it is based bald-facedly (well, whiskers-facedly) on raw power, the ability to destroy all means of transport and communication that binds the universe together, i.e. the spice.

Accordingly, DuneCat is an appropriate mascot for those resisting claims of those who try to assert that "their" wiki has been "taken over by trolls". By open deference to DuneCat, trolls gain a legitimacy beyond that of infrastructure owners trust derived from other means, e.g. deeds in land, royal titles, the love of bankers. Any troll-sysop struggle will be won by the first to resort rightfully to DuneCat, but it will also be reliably lost by those who invoke DuneCat too early. A tactical/strategic/diplomatic system is a fragile thing, and military doctrines all say to exhaust every other avenue before resorting to brute force and raw threat.
