Become/remain/equal
From eg
Continuities existed perhaps in the past: once we project them into the future, we render revolution conceptually impossible, we defeat ourselves. Periodisation of the present is always reactionary, whether we categorise the present in terms of a long wave, or a mode of regulation, or a paradigm. - Harramienta
The become/remain/equal living ontology pattern is also called E Prime or E Prime when it replaces the verb to be, which is not allowed at all, as in trollish. Simply put:
- to become frames events from present to future, i.e. be/do/go
- to remain frames events from past to present, i.e. history
- to equal compares events in the present, a limited snapshot or window
Some search results suggest that the phrases become/remain equal and become (remain) equal are (barely) in use. They appear to ambiguate the meaning or express the belief that the statement is valid in all three frames.
A more complete explanation in context of situated effective action and enactivist thought is at embodimentwiki.org: E Prime.
