The zooid:trollgnaw (under Crocker's Rules) is alternative to Eg:Community Portal.
One definition of a trollgnaw is a page in blog form where trolls gnaw on each other's ideas and suggestions. Sometimes they will also gnaw on each other, which is allowed but generally discouraged, as there is almost always something tastier to gnaw on. See bite you on the leg.
The word trollgnaw ambiguates other activities also, see egregoria. What seems to combine them is that Crocker's Rules are in effect for everyone in any trollgnaw.
Some trollish suggestions to resolve all issues
- rename the most powerful sysop the Lowest Troll to invert hierarchy and discourage power grabbing, and emphasize the operational function: limiting trolls by using undemocratic methods (thus "Lowest"), which should be done by peers (thus "Troll")
- Please do not interpret this as any criticism of any person, it isn't, but someone could get hit by a bus some day, and if they inherit the title Lowest Troll they will behave different than if they inherit the title Chief Sysop
- set a zooid:brand and zooid:ethic that invite people to copy zooid:system policies
